We offer a variety of activities on the estate for you to choose from, if you have any ideas for alternative activities please do ask! All activities must be chosen a group and are subject to availability with our partners.
‘KILL IT, COOK IT, EAT IT’
Not as severe as it sounds! Why not try shooting an air rifle target, building a campfire from scratch, learning how to de-breast a pigeon and then cooking it on your campfire for supper!
This activity will be a light-hearted introduction to self-defense for girls. Build your confidence, learn some simple self-defense moves and have some fun!
Ever wanted to master the art of archery? This archery lesson is suitable for complete novices as well as skilled archers.
CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
Improve and show off your sniper skills as you take aim for the clay pigeons in the air. Once you get the hang of it – you’ll be absolutely hooked! There is a minimum number requirement for this activity of 15, and an additional charge of £10 per person.
KNIT AND NATTER
Have a go at knitting or crochet in a relaxed, fun, outdoor environment. Catering for the novice as well as experienced knitter you can enjoy guidance from a knitting expert!

Learn how to make a floral head crown. You will design your very own floral masterpieces from a selection of inspiring blooms.

Get all of your girls dancing with a fun vintage dance class. Learn some jive, swing or Lindy hop routines.
Join our master butchers for a fun filled sausage making activity. During this enjoyable course you will learn the basics of sausage preparation, flavour combinations and how to fill and link sausages. For a competitive edge, in pairs or groups we run a competition to find the best sausage, judged by our butchers with over 20 years experience.
GREAT SUFFOLK BAKE OFF!
Inspired by the Great British Bake Off this cookery competition is perfect for hens. A ‘technical’ challenge to create a cake in just 90 minutes with a basic recipe and ingredients provided. Once complete you will be required to present your cake on the gingham alter for judging. The best part is enjoying tea and cake in the garden at the end of the challenge!
